Siddharth Dalmia
Founder and Proprietor of Neevika Enterprises
I work across business consulting, technology, law and manufacturing. Today, I am building Neevika Enterprises in Vana, Bhinder, Udaipur, alongside my freelance work as a Business Consultant with Omnex Consulting. My background includes enterprise AI presales at Brane Enterprises, legal work at IndusLaw, startup advisory and early product ventures.
I studied information and communication technology at DA-IICT, law at Jindal Global Law School and management at the Indian School of Business. That combination has shaped the work I take on: understanding a business problem, examining its commercial and regulatory requirements, and helping turn a plan into something that can operate.
Building Neevika Enterprises
In September 2024, I began building Neevika Enterprises. Agro-processing appealed to me because of available raw material, what I saw as limited competition in the market I was considering, and demand for processed goods. Those were my reasons for exploring the opportunity at that time.
My work at Neevika spans the setup and operating development of a chana dal and besan manufacturing business. It includes project planning, site and regulatory coordination, banking compliance and subsidy documentation, machinery and partner coordination, and commercial development.
The business also develops selected machinery in-house and works with partners for other equipment. Turnkey project support can cover detailed project reports, bank and subsidy applications, layout and shed coordination, machinery selection and integration, installation and commissioning, according to the agreed scope. Financing and subsidy decisions remain with the lender and the relevant authority.
Manufacturing brings my earlier work into a physical setting. Layouts, machinery decisions and documents have to relate to the unit being built. I have begun sharing the founder journey through Neevika’s articles and plan to write about the setup process, government schemes and practical uses of AI around business work.
Business consulting and enterprise AI
Omnex Consulting
Business Consultant | Freelance | January 2023 to present
Alongside Neevika, I work with Omnex Consulting on business and startup consultancy, blockchain-related questions and practical applications of generative AI. The work includes processes, lead funnels and response workflows. This consulting role has overlapped with other parts of my professional journey.
I also use AI assistants in my own research, content and operating workflows. I define the task and its boundaries, test the output and check it against the source or the real situation. The usefulness of the result depends on that checking, especially when a document or analysis will inform a business decision.
Brane Enterprises
Senior Presales Consultant | May 2023 to September 2024
At Brane, I worked between client requirements, AI capabilities and commercial proposals. I mapped business processes into large language model use cases, prepared requirements and supported demonstrations. I also worked on responses to requests for proposals, quotations and information, alongside commercial documentation.
My work included 20+ pricing models for LLM solutions and five resource-allocation models in Excel. On the product side, I conducted user acceptance testing on six LLM features and identified 15+ design issues.
I contributed to generative AI and robotic process automation features, competitive benchmarking and ONDC integration. This included seller onboarding, interface designs and technical documentation. I wrote SQL queries for process mining and dashboards used to investigate the causes of process problems.
Startup Sherpa
Founder and Consultant | Began March 2021
Through Startup Sherpa, I advised startups and individuals on legal, product and business matters. The work included regulatory analysis, corporate structuring, product design, wireframes and commercial strategy for fintech and digital-asset businesses.
I worked with 25+ clients, including three international clients, and provided pro bono support to 100+ startups and individuals. My work also included a legal toolkit for entrepreneurs with 100+ templates and 20 self-help guides.
Projects extended beyond technology. They included helping a cloud-kitchen business with its structure, licences, registrations and operating arrangements, as well as estate-planning work involving wills, advance directives and a trust.
Earlier ventures and legal practice
Wealthisle
Founder and legal consultant | March 2021 to June 2023
My Wealthisle work combined product management and legal responsibilities. An initial phase focused on business-to-business data sharing, consent management and privacy frameworks. A later phase explored digital-asset products, including a fractional-ownership NFT platform. I worked full-time through September 2021 and part-time from October 2021.
IndusLaw
Trainee Associate | July to November 2020
Associate | November 2020 to March 2021
At IndusLaw, I worked on corporate transactions, legal and technology-related due diligence, regulatory questions and commercial documentation. My work included transaction-document review and data-protection matters. This experience connected detailed legal analysis with the practical requirements of corporate transactions.
Early product and business development
As Business Lead at WiseL from June 2014 to May 2017, I worked on product management and business development for STYCO. The project included a customer-loyalty programme and onboarding local businesses.
I co-founded Kryptochange and worked on digital-asset exchange functionality and a crypto-pair arbitrage algorithm. The venture received an incubation offer from Startup Tunnel.
As an advisor to Ricex.io from January 2018 to April 2019, I worked on the legal and business considerations around a blockchain-based rice-trading platform and engaged with rice traders in India.
Research and teaching experience
My early experience also included research assistance to Professor Alka Parikh in 2015, a teaching-assistant role at DA-IICT from August to December 2015, and teaching with Vidya & Child from January to March 2017. During law school, I undertook legal internships in 2017 and 2018.
Legal knowledge platforms
I founded IndianLegalBlog.com, where I worked from June 2018 to May 2020, and worked on JurisNode.com from May to November 2020. These projects formed part of my work in explaining Indian law and making legal information accessible.
